The Gift of Art: An Art Sale Exhibition
Saturday, Dec. 1 - Saturday, Dec. 29
With the holidays approaching the search for that perfect gift can be daunting. Why not buy a piece of art for your loved ones to enjoy year-round? There is something for everyone in The Gift of Art, an annual art exhibition that features more than 50 unique works available for purchase by North Texas-based artists. Visit the exhibition this holiday season to support local artists and share your love of art. Also, as a special aspect of this year’s exhibit, there will be a Christmas model train display handmade from wood by artist Le Notley.
Meet the artists and explore the exhibition at a reception on Saturday Dec. 8, from 7-9 p.m. – you may walk away with a wonderful piece of art to call your own, or to give as a holiday gift.
The popular Dallas jazz and R&B group, Fingerprints, celebrates the holiday season at the MCL Grand in a concert featuring a reunion of friends, including Shelley Carrol, Cheryl Jones, and Roy Machado, and special guests Mark Harper and Kyle Turner.
