VAL debuts “Color Dance” exhibit at MCL Grand

The Visual Art League of Lewisville’s “Color Dance” exhibit opens in the main art gallery of Medical City Lewisville Grand Theater, 100 N. Charles Street, on Saturday, June 20.

This is the first public art exhibit at MCL Grand since it reopened from the COVID-19 shutdown. The exhibit runs through Saturday, July 11. Artists interpret color with art that shows harmony, mood, light, pattern and movement.

Admission is free. The gallery is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday, and some select evenings and Sunday hours. MCL Grand will be closed Friday, July 3, and Saturday, July 4, in observance of the Independence Day holiday.

Visual Art League of Lewisville is one of eight local groups receiving funding from the City of Lewisville through a grant program designed to foster cultural and fine arts in the community.

To reach MCL Grand from I-35E, take exit 452 and proceed east on Main Street to Charles Street. MCL Grand will be on the left. Free public parking is available along Main and Church streets, or at Lewisville City Hall.
