Temporary Public Art Proposals for the Lewisville Lake Environmental Learning Area
South Display Case
Through Thursday, Dec. 5
The Lewisville Lake Environmental Learning Area and UNT's Onstead Institute invited the Intermediate Sculpture: Art in Public Fall 2019 class to generate proposals for a temporary public artwork (sculpture, installation, mural or other) that could be fabricated and installed at LLELA for at least one year.
The maquettes and project support documents on display in the South display case near the Recital Hall, are being reviewed by a committee of UNT Faculty, City of Lewisville Staff and a City of Lewisville Arts Advisory Board representative for selection of the project that will be given the opportunity and funding to move on to fabrication and installation as early as Fall 2020.
Venue hours are Tuesday - Saturday, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Please note that the venue will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 28 and Friday, Nov. 29 for Thanksgiving holiday.
