7 p.m.

Join Edora Butler for the official launch of the non profit Cups, Jars, Vessels (CJV). The organization mission was birthed out of a compelling desire to support the community through a call to serve. From this call to service, CJV’s mission was coined to draw others who would like to serve in Fulfilling the Call to Serve by Pouring into the Lives of Others.

The organization will serve in four capacities: Encouraging Volunteerism; offering various types of Training; Awarding Student Scholarships, and developing Partnerships with other organizations to serve communities.

A reception will be held at 6:30 p.m. with the launch at 7 p.m. RSVP's are requested.

Organization history: Cups, Jars, Vessels (CJV) was established by Edora Butler because she recognized that while many individuals were able to secure jobs, there was still a lack of financial resources to maintain a standard of living. In addition, from personal experience she realized that one of the barriers that prevented individuals from securing a job that might provide more financial resources was compounded by a lack of understanding on how to properly manage a budget, coupled with the skills that would help with meeting minimal qualifications to secure jobs with higher pay grades.
CJV’s mission was birthed out of a compelling desire to support the community through a call to serve. From this call to service, CJV’s mission was coined to draw others who would like to serve in Fulfilling the Call to Serve by Pouring into the Lives of Others.

CJV’s logo is intended to represent all individuals.
