"Director’s Choice" presented by LakeCities Ballet Theatre

LakeCities Ballet Theatre will present Director’s Choice on Friday, March 31 and Saturday, April 1 at the Medical City Lewisville Grand Theater, 100 N. Charles Street.
Show times for both Friday and Saturday night is 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $20 per person and can be purchased online at lakecitiesballet.org.
The ballet company will display its versatility in a program of classical and contemporary dance selected by Artistic Director, Kelly Lannin. The program featured work is Élégie from Tschaikovsky Suite #3 with Choreography by George Balanchine © The George Balanchine Trust. Also featured on the program is an exciting La Esmeralda Suite staged and choreographed by resident choreographer and teacher, Deborah Weaver, formerly of La Scala Ballet. Special guest artist, Steven Loch (Pacific Northwest Ballet) will perform the exciting Flames of Paris pas de deux.
LakeCities Ballet Theatre is one of seven local groups receiving funding from a City of Lewisville grant program designed to foster cultural and fine arts in the community.
Medical City Lewisville Grand Theater is the premier public arts facility in Southern Denton County. The 40,000-square-foot facility features a 296-seat proscenium theater, Black Box theater, dance recital hall, art gallery, five art classrooms and a large courtyard. Medical City Lewisville has a multi-year agreement with the city for naming rights at MCL Grand.
To reach MCL Grand from Interstate 35E, take exit 452 and proceed east on Main Street to Charles Street. MCL Grand will be on the left. Free public parking is available along Main and Church streets, or at Lewisville City Hall.
