The Medical City Lewisville Grand Theater art gallery has over 300 running feet of exhibit walls in a 2,000 square foot, clean, well lit room perfect for display of art or an elegant social occasions.

To support arts in Lewisville each year Arts Support Grants are awarded to local nonprofit arts organizations using Hotel Occupancy Tax money.  State law allows this use, up to 15 percent of gross revenue, as promotion of tourism.

The City of Lewisville and the surrounding areas offers residents and visitors everything from art exhibits, theater productions, and ballet.

In 2014 the Lewisville Poet Laureate program was created and J. Paul Holcomb was selected.  Holcomb was selected again in 2016.  Holcomb is a member of the Poetry Society of Texas and is a founding member of the Denton Poets Assembly.

The Public Art Master Program has four infrastructure projects which were approved by voters in the November 2015 bond election. This is the first time public art had been included in the initial planning for a Lewisville capital project. Those public art components include permanent public art integrated into the new Multigenerational Recreation Center; permanent public art integrated into hike and bike trail additions; and permanent public art integrated into two major street construction projects.

Visual Art League of Lewisville is an all-volunteer organization with community members who share an interest in the visual arts and fine crafts. The members have several exhibits each year in the main art gallery and the north corridor.
