Catering & Concessions
Food service is a part of many client events at MCL Grand, and most rentals include access to the catering kitchen if requested at the time of booking. In order to ensure a quality experience for clients and visitors, MCL Grand management has adopted the following procedures and guidelines related to food service at the facility.
The concession stand located in the main lobby is operated under contract by G Texas Catering. Concessions will be available at public performances as deemed appropriate by MCL Grand management and G Texas Catering staff. Clients can request concessions service for other events, but final decision will be made by MCL Grand management based on feasibility, appropriateness and expected audience. Clients will not receive proceeds from sales at the concession stand. Clients may not operate the concession stand without written consent from G Texas Catering. Clients may not operate their own concession operation elsewhere in the facility without written approval from MCL Grand management.
G Texas Catering is the recommended caterer at MCL Grand and offers varied menus and services for sit-down, buffet, reception or snack food and beverage. This recommendation is based on the company’s extensive experience in the catering field and its familiarity with MCL Grand facilities and procedures. All other caterers must apply to be added to the Approved Caterers list before providing food or beverage service in the facility. A list of approved caterers is available to clients upon request.
All alcoholic beverages must be obtained through and served by G Texas Catering. This is a contractual provision and MCL Grand staff can NOT grant exceptions to this requirement. Clients and guests are NOT permitted to bring their own alcohol into the facility. Violation of this provision can result in immediate cancellation of a booking with no refund. Requests for G Texas to provide alcohol at an event must be made at least 30 days in advance of event date.
